On a couple of beautiful, fresh Spring days in April, I visited a range of property guardians in their quirky, characterful, sometimes humble, but always homely, homes.

Focusing on the diversity of people that acting as a property guardian attracts, I shared stories, asked probing questions, and, according to the smiles in the photos, apparently made people feel very comfortable during the shoot.

Aside from the enjoyable banter, it was a pleasure to work once more for Dot Dot Dot, this time sharing the workload with a film team as the organisation took their first steps into video content. An introductory film of what living as a property guardian is like can be seen here.
