A long-standing partnership between Nike, British artist, Dave White, design agency, Rosie Lee and shoe shop, size? has seen some iconic pieces produced in the past.

For this reunion, Nike have taken abstractions from two of Dave's paintings, both from his widely-acclaimed 'Albion' series; a study of our local British wildlife.

Sections of the paintings have been ripped, overlaid, reimagined and fused into the synthetic upper of Nike's latest Air Max 95 trainer, an exclusive release for size? shoes.

I was fortunate enough to be involved in the project when Rosie Lee sent me to photograph Dave, in conversation with size? founder, Paul Ruffles, in his studio and at home in Dorset. An amazing artist, two empassioned sneaker-heads and thoroughly nice guys, it was an insightful and inspiring little visit!
