I love the challenge of working with teenaged children, many of whom are far from comfortable being photographed, but with lots of conversation, and keeping things as light as possible, they always open up, always give loads of energy and it's always such a good laugh in the process!

Continuing my work with Childline, and with a huge help from Sam at Productions Inc, we cast an eclectic group of teenagers from a wide variety of backgrounds and parts of the UK, brought them together, creating as many believable situations as we could and documented them in a loose, observed fashion.

With valuable input from the art directors, we were able to produce a bank of new imagery that puts real children in real situations, and when used by Childline, it allows users of their website to easily associate with the characters in the photographs.
