What better way to spend a couple of days exploring all that Spain's Catalonian cycling Mecca, Girona, has to offer, than with a select group of solid riders, some incredible weather and even more spectacular locations.
We set up the bikes with Fabric products including saddles, saddle bags, handle bar tape, bottles and cages and off we went, taking in the breath-taking views around the reservoir at Villanova de Sau, a flooded village an hour's drive west from Girona, for some perfect gravel riding.
Also, to tie in with the launch of the new Lumasense, Lumaray and Lumacell lights, we embraced a 4:00am call time to shoot for first light at one of Girona's most well known climbs, Els Angels, and the sunrise and entirely car-free riding didn't disappoint!
With a short blast through the old town, exploring the cobbled streets and ancient architecture, it was certainly a busy, but extremely rewarding way to discover a new city. Thank you Fabric for the perfect 'work' adventure - we honestly weren't only eating ice creams, cooking barbeques, dipping our feet in swimming pools and sampling the amazing local food, although we did manage to fit all those in somehow too..!
